A chair
\nstands empty<\/h2>\n

Thomas Bernhard came to Caf\u00e9 Br\u00e4unerhof almost every day. Black Coffee, the Austrian papers, his usual spot. He wasn\u2018t the only one wo made this place his own – just, perhaps, the most famous.<\/p>\n

We are changing very little, but there is a lot to do. The benches are being reupholstered, the woodwork cared for, the chandeliers brought back to a shine. However, the Eiernockerl aren\u2018t going anywhere, the tiles still glow yellow and the papers are still on the table. Nothing we are changing should catch your eye – you should only feel it, the moment you walk in.<\/p>\n

Until then: a chair stands empty, reserved for you.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/div>\n
